    Difference:American culture emphasizes freedom,but Germans tend to be more traditional and serious

    German culture is rigorous and cautious. A little bit conventional, less innovative. The main content of American culture is to emphasize individual value, pursue democracy and freedom, advocate exploration and competition, and emphasize rationality and practicality. The core of American culture is individualism.

    Similarity:They both attach importance to human rights and pursue individualism.

    Similarities: Both of them pay attention to punctuality and show the characteristics of individualism.People of both cultures all incline to follow their own wills.Both Germans and Americans like to be frank and straightforward.

    Compared with the seriousness of the Germans, Americans are more open and free. For example, in the meeting, Americans prefer to play freely, while Germans will make full investigation and report, or works, before the meeting. And Americans worship individualism more, do things self-centered, give priority to personal interests, but Germans worship individual honor and disgrace more.

    The industrial culture of the United States and Germany is very developed. In the Second World War, both countries led the world by their own industrial strength. And now the industrial manufacturing of the two countries is also very developed. People generally agree on the quality of products manufactured by the two countries.

    Similarities and differences between German culture and American culture:

    Similarities: They both attach great importance to individualism. For example,one's position in US society is determined by one's own achievements as opposed to status or age. And Germans place high priority on looking after themselves and their immediate family.

    Differences: The character of them are different. Americans are outgoing, easy to communicate, more inclusive when talking, most of the team work. However, Germans have a strong sense of honor, are not interested in their own life, personal work.

    1.The Ameiricans prefer the freedom and would't be trapped in the rules.The Germans hope to act under the rules.

    2.Most of the Ameiricans are Christians.Almost 80% are Christians. 

    People in German have many religions such as Muslim and Christian and Buddhism.
