I think the United States is a country of freedom and individualism, Germany is a country of seriousness and individual honor. The United States is a very free country, living in the United States do not have to mind too many rules and regulations. German seriousness is unmatched, once determined, will try to do a thing in accordance with the code.

The main content of American cuiture is to emphasize personal values, pursue demorcracy and freedom, advocate pioneering , and practicality .Its core is individualism :personal interests and personal enjoyment ,and emphasis on Self-design, pursuing the ultimate realization of personal value. This deliberately shaping self and pursuing personalized individualism have both positive and negative aspects. It mobilized the enthusiasm of individuals, so that the wisdom and potential of many people can be fully realized, there by prometing the revitalization and development of the entire nation and country. However, everyone is self- centered, interpersonal relationships are difficult to harmonize, and the entire society wil lack cohesion .

German chlture is rigorous  and cautious. A little bit of the rules and less innovation spirit.

1.Different from openness, German culture is more conservative (traditional), that is, more concerned with traditional customs, while the United States is a little more open.

2.Germany has a strong cultural heritage and is less vulnerable to cultural shock. The United States is more culturally inclusive because it is a country of immigrants. Cultural diversity and change are strong.

3.The United States is a religious culture based on Christianity.
For German culture, what is more important is actually the identification of cultural identity generated by the common Christian and artistic traditions.
