I think its still a hard work for me to understand a long artcle,but study in week 2 told me that there is no need to understand everything .I can catch the main body of the article at my first sight ,and find the details just when i need them.Even i can learn the idea of the article through following questions.

In this week,I learned a lot from TOEFL reading section. In the video,the teacher taught me some useful reading skills which played a role in exams.For example,by skimming I can get the main topic quickly.Then I can find the key words from the article and questions.By this way,It doesn't take a long time to finish an essay.So I think it's very helpful.

In this wweek ,i come across many new words in passage ,i sometimes skip it but most of time i usually look it up,i think it is useful for me. And different questions also taught me different ways to answer them.

In this week's study，I learned several kinds of reading strategies which included scanning， skimming and so on. And I had also got to know different types of questions like reference , inference questions and so on. For me, I think the most important is that I should read each paragraph's first sentence to figure out what this paragrapy is taking about, it really helps.

This week what I learned is about the methods when we face the reading test.First, we should read more acadamic texts to improve the English level,cause it's formal,logical,objective and conceptually complex.Then,the main ways to solve the reading problems are to identify the topic,skim the passage,take notes,read the questions,scan for key words.The whole train of thought is to find the logic and ideas of the passage.Third,when we look through the different questions,do remember to know about the rule the question told you and follow its meaning to write down the right answer.

I have learned different kinds of questions and the way of solving them.The most useful strategy for me is that scaning the first paragraph and the first sentense of each paragraph to find out the structure of the artical,then reading to gain more details.Obviously this will help you have a better grasp of the whole artical,knowing what is the author talking about in each paragraph.

I have learnt a lot reading skills.I think it is important to read as the order.the first is to identify the topic.The second is to skim the passage because the first sentence of the paragraph is always conclusive.And the third is to take notes to help remmember important details.Then read questions and find the location.Last,scan for key words.

When I'm practicing listening, I like to divide a paragraph of listening into several sentences and then listen to one sentence after another. In addition, I also like to watch foreign movies. When I watch a movie, I listen to the lines first, and then watch the subtitles, so as to check whether I understand the lines.

This week's TOEFL course teaches us some basic question forms of reading. Questions including fact judgment, vocabulary questions, and reasoning questions. I think the biggest gain for me is not the teachers' summary of the questions, but the methods used by the teacher in doing the questions. Skimming and scanning keywords makes the problem easier, and I can finish a problem faster. Reading the article in advance allows us to understand how the author writes.

TOEFL Reading is usually very long,we should skim through the passage quickly. I think the most useful method is to use the elimination method flexibly. When doing toefl reading questions, we should learn to use the elimination method to do the questions flexibly, which can help us save a lot of time.

And the insider tell us more details about the Reading section this week through a series of videos about the different Reading question types. The insider teaches the reading tips and reading skills. I also get a method to increase my vocabulary, we can study Latin and Greek roots that will help us remember the meanings of words. however, my favorite method is scaning, which can help me understand the passage quickly by reading the first sentence of each paragraph.
