After this week's study, I have a deeper understanding of the reading part. I can better distinguish reading problems, such as vocabulary problems, reference problems, sentence simplification problems and and so on.By learning some reading skills, I greatly improved my reading level. What impressed me most was the the method of browsing and induction, I do not need to understand word by word, I just need to get the main idea of the article.

Three points need to be paid attention to in the reading part of TOEFL. First, memorize good words, second, look at long and difficult sentences, third, make TPO materials. These three parts are very helpful for reading. Can greatly improve the speed and accuracy of TOEFL Reading.

By watching the video, I learned a lot about reading comprehension, includinghe factual and negative factual information questions, the inference and rhetorical purpose questions,the vocabulary questions,the reference questions etc. And I know how to do reading comprehension. Skimming and fast reading are very convenient methods.

This week is for reading.Following the instruction,I have learned a sorts of basic problems which occurr frequently . For instant,"infereence",An Inference question could ask we to identify information that is not explicitly stated；“Rhetorical Purpose”—— Rhetorical Purpose questions ask why an author has presented a piece of information.
I tend to read through the whole passage first and then sum up. The strategy help me grasp the theme . -

The courses I learnt this week is mainly about question which are likely to appear in readings. Factual/Negative Factual Information Questions, Inference and Rhetorical Purpose Questions, and Vocabulary Questions are mentioned. As far as I am concerned, the video about Vocabulary Questions benefits me most, for it gives me a guidance to learning on what vocabulary we are supposed to lay most emphasis on.

In the reading section, I have learnt how to read academic texts and some tips for answering some types of questions. For example, factual/negative factual information questions, inference and rhetorical purpose questions, vocabulary questions and reference questions. I think that identifying the topic quickly and accurately and skiming when first reading the passage are very useful. You can only read the first sentence of each paragraph to grasp the main idea of the whole paragraph.

During studying of this week. I have learned some types of questions in reading parts. Such as the vocabulary question, factual information questions and so on. In my opinion, the one which is most helpful for me is the learning of vocabulary question. I will learn more words and try to understand the article with the unknown word.
