From the perspective of intercultural appropriation(跨文化借用), in your opinion, which part or parts of Japanese culture absorbed some elements from Chinese culture?
In my opinion,Japanese culture has many similar elements with Chinese culture.Such as Tea ceremony,Calligraphy,Food,Religion,Kimono,Characters and so on .
Chinese characters in Japanese culture absorb Chinese culture. As well as the Kabuki performance in the Japanese performance and the Japanese tea art and so on have learned the Chinese traditional culture. Some of them were also influenced by ancient China.
There are many similar elements between chinese culture and Japanese culture. For example, tea culture, clothing culture in tang dynasty,character,weiqi, and food.
Japanese culture absorbed many elements from Chinese culture. Japanese culture learned from China during the tang dynasty. Such as the tea culture, clothing culture and the promotion of rice, the origin of the Japanese characters,the indirectness, the politeness, Chinese characters and religion. And the values for family in the Japanese's core values are also similar with the Chinese's ones.
Japanese writing came into being after Chinese characters were introduced into Japan.
In addition,Japanese instruments and architecture also have something from China.And the tea culture has a long history in China.Japanese can develop it well.
1. The tea culture.The Japanese tea ceremony was created by learning from the Chinese way of making tea.
2. Architectural style.Some buildings in Japan are built after appreciating the ancient Chinese architecture and integrating with the national culture.
3. Eating habits.The Japanese like rice as much as the Chinese, and they also create sushi.
