I think it mast be tea ceremony.Japanese tea ceremony is Originated in China.

Introduced by the Japanese Buddhist  in the last stage of the Southern Song.

Even though Japanese tea ceremony are originated from China, there exist a lot of differences between them. For

example:The kind of tea,China has many kinds of tea.The basic tea can be classified  as green

tea, black tea.Japanese mostly drink Japanese Green Tea and sometimes they drink Oolong tea.Unlike china, they

    sometimes drink cold tea.

Japanese writing came into being after Chinese characters were introduced into Japan. From the initial lack of characters to the creation of its own unique kana characters and "mixed with Chinese" writing system, this process is the comprehensive learning and introduction of Chinese characters, and according to the original language of Japan to it dripping and re-creation process.
