Can you give some examples about the similarities and differences between German Culture and American Culture?

    Similarities: Both of the cultures regard highly on individualism. People of the both cultures all incline to follow their own wills.

     

    Differences: Germans attach great importance to orders especially in public environments. Americans prefer to enjoy freedom and hate the feeling of being trapped.

    1. In Chinese culture people are allowed to shake with women but in Emerati culture people are not allowed to do so.
    2.In Emerati culture, people can not schedule business meetings during prayer times but in China people don't have religious beliefs. So people can schedule the meeting whenever they want.
    3.In Emerati culture relationship and trust are most important in working relationship but in China the ability is the more important.
    4.Chinese women share equal rights with men, but in the UAE women's rights are looked down upon.

    The United States is a very free country. They emphasize individualism and don't need to worry about rules and regulations when living in the United States.Germans are more easily to feel threatened by ambiguous stitutions and have created believes and stitutation to avoid risks.

    Both Germans and Americans emphasize personal value,money and status.

    Difference:The main content of American culture is to emphasize personal values and pursue democracy and freedom.     German culture is tightly thought and cautious. A little conformist, less innovative spirit.

    Similarity:Basically all believe in Christianity. Whether in the United States or Britain, most people believe in Jesus, and the festivals they celebrate are also based on the Christian tradition.
