UAE people usually shake hands when they meet guests in social occasions.
When they meet with their relatives and friends, they are also used to kissing.

UAE is an Islamic country, and they should respect the local dress etiquette in public. Generally speaking, women should try to avoid wearing back, belly, knee, tight and transparent clothes; men should not wear shorts or bare arms in public.

When holding business meetings with uae countries, do not arrange pork (including food in the shape of pigs) and wine (including alcoholic beverages).
Also in the UNITED Arab Emirates, it is illegal to eat in public during Ramadan. Please note if commercial activities are during Ramadan. When greeting each other, avoid talking about women and never greet wives, mothers or daughters. Talk less about politics and less about religion.

UAE is a Muslim country. There are many rules in their daily life. When conducting business meetings with UAE people, I think it is necessary to pay attention to at least the following points:

First, UAE people are used to handshaking when greeting each other. But be sure to use your right hand, because Muslims believe that the left hand is "unclean" and "unlucky". If the UAE kisses you on the cheek, you should return with the same courtesy.

Second, there are many restrictions on women in Muslim doctrine. So when you say hello to UAE people, do not actively greet the female members of the other party, unless the other party greets you first.

Third, although UAE people are hospitable, you should respect each other's beliefs. Therefore, when you have business meetings with UAE people, you must pay attention to dressing. Women's skirts should not be too short or too exposed. Men should also be careful not to bare their limbs.

Fourth, if you want to have dinner with UAE people after the meeting, you must remember that UAE people do not drink. At the same time, they don't eat many kinds of food, such as pork.

Finally, business cards can be prepared for business meetings with UAE people, but they are not necessary. If you have a business card, please print it in Arabic and English!
