When people in the United Arab Emirates meet their guests on social occasions, they are usually used to shaking hands. Passing things or food with your left hand is a great disrespect for people and even insulting people. They are taboo to greet each other's female relatives, which they think is rude. It is taboo to use wine or photos of women as gifts to each other. Think of these as two things that violate religious rules and are unacceptable. % 0A the United Arab Emirates is a non-drinking country, so people are not allowed to drink alcohol. They also fast on pork and use pig products; they also do not eat animal internal organs.

Generally speaking, women should try to avoid wearing back, belly, knee, tight and transparent clothes; men should not wear shorts or bare arms in public
