I think the TOEFL test is more difficult than CET6, no matter in listening, speaking, reading and writing. More vocabulary, more reading space, faster listening speed, more information and more complex logic. Moreover, there are fewer routines in TOEFL, which test our comprehensive English ability.

CET is mainly related to written form English and test is specifically designed to Chinese English learners.The content of CET is about basic daily communications and the most essential needs for Englis like working in a corporation or ordering dishes in a foreign restaurant.However.TOEFL is a worldwide test for academic engaging and it's considered as a standard to judge whether a student acquires the ability to major a subject or do some business in complete English.The TOFEL test form is more complicated including lectures and filling blanks.The TOFEL vacabulary requires more than the CET.

Compared TOFEL test to CET Band Six, it requires more skilled English capacities and focuses on the communication and comprehension. CET Band Six is more specific, which is aiming to the employment.
