For me,I think the most useful strategy for me is taking notes when listening, but it is important to take notes quickly, spending too much time on taking notes will distract our mind,as a result ,we will lose many key points.
Are there any efficient skills which can help us during the listening part whether in TOEFL TEST or CET BAND SIX ?
After learning the listening part in week 3, I hold the idea of practicing as a good way to improve our English because Mr Michael said it at the end of each video. In addition when we listen something, we should choose the important details in some conversations. What's more , listening the tone of speakers is also a great way to answer the attitude questions .
From my perspective, a correct listening process is the key to get high score in listening part.To begin with,I prefer scanning the four choices before the listening. And then circle the important points.Furthermore,listening.Ultimately,reading the choices again and choose the answer.
1.When we talk to others in English, we can try our best to remember more details.
2.When we need to answer attitude questions,we are supposed totake notice about” what I think……” or “ it seems to me……”
3We can watch comedy television shows to polish our listening.
I learned that we could write down some key words about the listening. And just let it go when failing to catch the former question. The TOEFL test tells us to grasp the attitudes of the speakers, which help us to understand the meanings more easily. Last but not the least, I hold the view that only when we practice more can we improve our listening.
Taking notes is the most important way in TOEFL TEST and CET BAND SIX , these notes includes some key words or some important phrases.Besides, we have to form a mind map when we are listening the conversations. What's more, we have to be calm when we might miss some information during the listening course.
This week, the teacher teach us many useful skills to help us have a great prograss in listening. First, we are supposed to take notes when we are listening to the lecture, which can help us have a more clear idear.Second, the teacher teaches us how to deal with many kinds of questions, such as detail questions, attitude questions, organization question and so on. Last but not the least, we should keep on listening everyday to make us familiar with English. Just believe that we can make it.
①note new concepts,quickly write down
②note the overall structure
③note main ideas and key relationships
④use symbols,use arrows
⑤outline format
⑥mind mapping
⑦write topic in the center
That's all I could come up with.
I think it necessary to take notes. As for our chinese students,we are not growing up in a English environment so that it's hard for us to got a sensitive abbility and catch up with every singer words explicitly.Taking notes helps us both onconcentration and preparation for following questions' answering.
①Get oriented.
②Identify important elements.
main ideas
key points
attitudes or opinions
③Keep listening.
From my point of view, and through this course, the most efficient skill is to listen to academic materials in various subjects. It helps us to get more details from the lectures. What's more,we should take brief notes on keywords and pay attention to the signal that indicate answers.
There are several efficient skills.First,it's very helpful for us to take notes on the key points as we listen and not try to write down everything we hear.Listening for the main idea and key points is nessary.Besides, make an effort to keep listening even if we miss something. In addition,we need to train ourself to foucs on listening and not to worry about an unfamiliar term or a detail we miss.
As for me, I like skim the questions and the options, underline the key word and guess what kind of conversations I will hear. when I'm hearing, I will write down the key word and sentence. I know that I don't need to understand everything, but I just should get the main ideas of it.
I think the most important skill is to take notes while listening, even if there are words you haven't learned. But it all builds on the fact that you are already familiar with English pronunciation.
We can write down the key words when we are listening so that we will not forget what we just heared, and listen to the tapes every morning and read with it loudly.
write down key words, underline the key points in the questions, and watch out the call-word or the adversative dring the listening.
As for me, it is very effective to take notes properly. Listening only plays once, it is very difficult for us to remember the whole content, so choosing the key words or phrases or sentences can help us better recall what we heard before answering the listening questions.
I also learn to be calm during the listening. Do not worry about missing a few words or sentences. Just keep calm and focus on listening.
From my point of view, I think the most important part is taking notes which can help us to remember the key points. And then we need to notice the toys are all the pictures about the conversations and articles, because by seeing these pictures we can predict the main idea of the artcle.
I think there are many useful skills. First,we should learn to take notes to write some significant message.Second,we should find the key words and remember it.Also,we can listen the spoken tone of the speaker to guess their feeling.More important,we should listen more and continue doing it.

As far as I am concerned, the most effective technique for the listening part is to take notes, which can help us better record important knowledge points and clear the context of the article. Of course, the most important thing is vocabulary, only know enough words to understand the article.
