TOEFL is an English test which is provided by ETS. It provide English ability recognition for people who want to continue their study and live in English-spoken countries. The test covers listening, speaking, writing and reading. I was impressed mostly by the video, because it told me how prepare for the test. I know it is quite helpful through week 1, because this course will give more instructions in every part of TOEFL in the later study. I expect speaking part mostly since I really want to improve my speaking English.

TOEFL is widely regarded as a standard for students enter colleges all over the world.It has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. All four sections are completed in one testing session, with three hours of testing time.The most impressive part is listening since my ability of listening is poor.But I will put my afforts to improve it. I wish we can get a lot of knowledge of listening and have a good experience with this clss.

I learned the week 1 of TOEFL® Test Preparation: The Insider's Guide this week. I gain a generate understanding of the TOEFL test after learning week 1.
First, I learned about some information of this course. In the six-week course, we will learn the TOEFL test and get through an in-depth look at all four sections of the TOEFL test: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. The course includes video lectures, discussion forums, weekly quizzes and recommended readings. To my surprise, the course is going to give us an insider’s view of all four sections. The course instructors who are experts in English language learning will teach us a variety of methods. I think it's very helpful. Second, I know some information about TOEFL test, such as test time, test process, test score and so on. Of course, I am impressed about the strictness of TOEFL test. Third, I watch a video named the advice from University Admissions Staff which highlighting the importance of English.
All in all, I get a lot after learning week 1 which encourages me to study English well. As far as I’m concerned, this course is equipped with excellent teachers and resources. I can interact with teachers and other participants using the discussion forums. This is a great way to support each other and enrich our learning experience. I hope I will improve my English language after learning this course.
