I absolutely believe that people in different countries have different attitudes towards dream jobs.It is easy to draw two conclusions about attitudes of American and Chinese.

For Chinese, most of them want to find a dream job which tends to aspects of material.Because of the traditional custom, they often take families into conclusion when they look for a good job.In addition,China is a developing country.Chinese should try their best to earn their livings,so they need a decent and stable job.

On the contrary,America is a developed country,so people can benefit from the social welfare greatly. They more want to show their personal value for the nation or the social. As we all know,American persuade individual heroism. So most of them more willing to enjoy the spiritual level. It is naturally reflected in their demands of dream jobs.

The first difference lies in the understanding of dream job. From the perspective of Chinese people, mostly dream job is a way to support themselves. Let me put it in another way. They focus on the monetary benefits. While for American people, they consider dream job more like a way to improve themselves through which they can achieve their own value.
When chinese people choose jobs they prefer some guaranteed jobs that they can help them avoid risks from these diseases or an securities, especially some job paid by the government. Relatively speaking, American people put the stability at first, they do not care about whether the job is offer but governments or whether the job has additional guaranteed services.
The third difference is the values behind of jobs. Chinese people worship family and community. They are willing to be guarded by the government and working in a bigger community. However, American people worship individualistic heroism.They are more likely to work hard alone in order to make a bigger community stronger.
The last difference is the relationship between dream job and family. Chinese people hope to find a balance between work and family life. They may sacrifice more themselves than American people when choosing job for familiy's  consideration.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job.

In China, an ideal job should be decent and respectable, which means Chinese long for a high social status and they want to be respected by others. When seeking a job, Chinese pay more attention to the stability than personal preference. Treatment like social security and medical care is preferred. So in China, jobs like civil servant or full-time teacher are very popular. Chinese hope to find a balance between work and family, so government - founded day care and annual leave benefits are very attractive.

In America, people pay more attention to the nature of the work. They long for a cool job, like Alfred Blogg the example in our new concept English, who got a low - paid job with satisfaction because it looked better to be a white collar worker than be a dustman. They also attach great importance to stability like Chinese. In addition, they hope to work for their nation.

According to the different attitudes, we can tell the cultural differences between the 2 countries. Apart from the job stability which both of them regard as important, Chinese prefer guaranteed jobs because they are careful and cautious, while American choose meaningful jobs because of their individualistic heroism.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job. One of the most obvious differences between Chinese and American cultural work values is that Chinese attach importance to group orientation while Americans emphasize individual consciousness.
The result of group orientation is that the interests of the group are higher than those of the individual.
Individuals should obey and integrate into the group. Different from Chinese culture, Americans worship individualism. They do their own things by themselves and do not like to ask for help from others. The independent spirit of "do it yourself" is deeply rooted in American culture. This enables Americans to develop the habit of "doing it yourself", and they can get the realization of self-worth in the process.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job. Now I will introduce the difference between China and America to all of you. Firstly, most Chinese hope to look for a more decent and respectable ideal jobs. However, Americans wish to find a cool jobs and are eager to do something meaningful. Secondly, Chinese and Americans have different opinions towards stability. Chinese are willing to have stable working environment and income while Americans think job offer should be stable. Because many Americans have a mortgage, they need a stable job offer to pay the loan. One of the most important point is that Chinese consider family is more important than jobs, but Americans want to work for the nation. Most Chinese are influenced by the traditional culture, so we think family harmony is quiet significant. In a word, different cultures may have different attitudes towards their ideal jobs. We should respect them and never belittle anyone who makes contributions to society. That's all. Thank you!

Different countries have different cultures and that’s what give birth to various features of societies. And when it comes to dream jobs, people from different countries also varies in choices.

And as a Chinese, I’m sure to declare that we Chinese people hold different attitudes towards dream jobs from that of other countries. Considering that Chinese people have always been putting a high value on family responsibilities, with personalities of prudence and self-esteem underneath, they tend to be considerate and highly cautious when selecting jobs. And it’s not that hard to know that, their dream jobs better be stable, bearing little risk, and if possible, having five insurances and one fund, such as jobs with social security and medical care. In fact, these choices are all made relevant to people’s responsibilities on families.

So that’s what I said cultures give birth to societies, just as every American attaches great importance to individuality, their starting point of working must be on the foundation of their own will. Different from the considerate Chinese with many things have to think about, Americans tend to be more casual and follow their interests when choosing jobs. In contrast to reserved Chinese, Americans stress creativity and imagination, they prefer some cool and meaningful jobs. Consequently, their dream jobs may be related to something offered both stability and the attractive nature.

In a word, attitudes towards dream job differ in countries. They have no distinction of good or bad, and they just grow shaped with countries.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries have different oppinion of dream jobs.

American dream job is often seen as the country's beliefs and ideals that promote the values of democracy, equality, and freedom. The heart of the concept can be understood as quality to all, freedom and justice, and the fact that everyone has right to pursue happiness and equal opportunities. In everyday life, these concepts are represented in 4 ways :private property grants you personal freedom;grant your personal freedom;great personal wealth .

Chinese dream can be embodied into 2 main concepts. The first ,which refers to the general goal of the state and its people,is achieving China's return to being a greatly influential nation and major player on the world stage. The second part ,which is on a personal and collective level,is the aim to secure everyone with a good education,a stable job,a decent income ,and a more encompassing social security system.

In China, people tend to choose jobs which are highly-paid  and more stable.

In America, people prefer to choose more risky and imteresting jobs. They do not only take salary and stability into their consideration.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes toward dream jobs. Let’s compare Chinese attitudes toward dreams jobs with Americans. Chinese people prefer decent jobs while American often attracted by the nature of the work. In my opinion, the reasons may relate to the culture differences between these two countries. We Chinese are more care about what other people think. Opinions from people like families or friends has a big influence on the jobs’ decision, because it matters if they are recognized by them. Meanwhile, Americans advocates liberalism and considers individualism important. Therefore, they think more about work itself and likely look for a job that can maximize their self-value. For showing unique personality, they are also likely to look for cool jobs. That is my understanding for cthe ulture differences between Chinese and American in dream jobs.

Today ,I want to give you the compasrison of attitudes toward dream job between Chinese and American.

First, Chinese tend to choose stable and normal jobs. Most families will require their children to occupy teaching and medical jobs when their kids choose a job. However, American parent give more free choice to their kids.Second, a more close connection between Chinese family ,high-salary job is also their consideration for they will support their family. American may has a distance  between them and their family after they become a adult,so they will choose what level salary job just they like. Last, China is a collectivisim country, they enjoy working in a sociey or group, contrastly, American is a individulism country, they like work independently.

    That's all.
