I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job. As we all know,Chinese have been influenced deeply by Confucian culture, it told us to remain in our proper sphere,Chinese do care about family members and they are very filial, this makes them family-orientated and traditional,so they hope to find a balance between work and famliy life, they want to spend time with family members.Futhermore,Chinese purse identity and stability,so most of them want to find a stable job and get a more stable income to prepare well for their future. In addition,Chinese people are concerned about their reputation so they often want a decent and respectable job.

However,in America, peple purse independence, freedom and equality, they enjoy the process of exploration,so American want to look for a "cool" job and they are attracted by the nature of the work.Additionally,American have the fighting spirit, as a result, they hope to work for the nation as well as be eager to do  something meaningful to achieve self-worth.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes toward dream jobs. Let’s compare Chinese attitudes toward dreams jobs with Americans.

Chinese people prefer decent jobs while American often attracted by the nature of the work. In my opinion, the reasons may relate to the culture differences between these two countries. We Chinese are more care about what other people think. Opinions from people like families or friends has a big influence on the jobs’ decision, because it matters if they are recognized by them. Meanwhile, Americans advocates liberalism and considers individualism important. Therefore, they think more about work itself and likely look for a job that can maximize their self-value. For showing unique personality, they are also likely to look for cool jobs. That is my understanding for cthe ulture differences between Chinese and American in dream jobs.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job. Now I will introduce the difference between China and America to all of you. Firstly, most Chinese hope to look for a more decent and respectable ideal jobs. However, Americans wish to find a cool jobs and are eager to do something meaningful. Secondly, Chinese and Americans have different opinions towards stability. Chinese are willing to have stable working environment and income while Americans think job offer should be stable. Because many Americans have a mortgage, they need a stable job offer to pay the loan. One of the most important point is that Chinese consider family is more important than jobs, but Americans want to work for the nation. Most Chinese are influenced by the traditional culture, so we think family harmony is quiet significant.

In a word, different cultures may have different attitudes towards their ideal jobs. We should respect them and never belittle anyone who makes contributions to society.

    That's all. Thank you!

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job.

Our traditional Chinese may be more conservative and we want to seek for a more stable working environment, and meanwhile the income is preferable. Also,Chinese pay more attention to the connection with their families and attach importance to family ties,so Chinese people may hope to find a balance between their work and family life.

On the contrary,American people will more likely to seek for a job having future orientation. It often seems to us that Americans are more open and outgoing,so they are willing to find a "cool" job and seek excitement.Because of their future orientation, they want to do sth meaningful to find their own value.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job.

There are regional differences between China and the United States, so cultural differences cannot be avoided. Especially the consumption concepts of the two peoples are very different, which also created their different views on ideal jobs.

Westerners value the individual and like to take risks. Their outlook on life is to try different possibilities and live out their own value. Therefore, the nature of work is not important to them. They tend to seek a meaningful job. While the Chinese have always pursued frugality, the ideal job must be a stable, secure and well-paid job.For them, work is a tool to support their families.

In China, people will enter universities related to their ideal jobs before they get it.Therefore,Chinese students go to college in order to find a good job and change their fate. But in the west, people enter colleges for better career opportunities.Nowadays, when it comes to disirable companies,Bank of China has been named the top choice by business students for seven consecutive years, and the gigantic state-owned firm shows no signs of relinquishing its lead.A lot of students said that working in bank is more stable and provides a better work-life balance. This is a typical example influenced by Chinese traditional concept.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitudes towards dream job , which is reflected in the Chinese and the Americans. There are three aspects of the different attitudes.

Firstly,Chinese and Americans have different attitudes towards job stability. Chinese people prefer to have a stable job, such as working in government and being a teacher, while the Americans will choose jobs which can challenge themselves and give full play to their talent, like starting a business. Secondly,Chinese and Americans have different attitudes towards their professional counterparts .Chinese are more inclined to choose a career corresponding to his major, while Americans prefer to choose what they like because of multiple choices of courses. Finally, Chinese and Americans have different attitudes towards the rewards of dream work. The Chinese often think in the long run,so they more care about the salaries. However, Americans often think in the short run ,so they prefer to experience life through work.

In conclusion, Chinese and Americans have different attitudes towards their dream job for various reasons. .

Every society has its own traditional values, and different countries have different work values. I will share with your two differences in work values between America and China.
First, the Chinese believe in loyalty and stability while the Americans believe in freedom and change. For example, Chinese people often say that the work unit is like a big family, and every employee is a member of the big family.Chinese believe in seeking personal development in stability .  Most job seekers are willing to work in government agencies, public institutions, state-owned enterprises to find a stable job. But in America, their pursuit of change is not only reflected in their love of innovation, but also in their love of changing careers and working environments.
Second, Chinese people regard work as a means of making a living, while Americans regard work as self-fulfillment. "Finding a good, stable job" is the end of most Chinese people's efforts. The quality of the work is usually based on the standard of the public, not thinking much about whether they really like it or not, but taking the work as a means to make money. On the contrary, changing the working environment, exerting self-potential, realizing self-worth and searching for the meaning of existence are the general mentality of American people.

I strongly believe in the fact that people in different countries may hold different attitude towards dream jobs. The difference was especially obvious between China and America. In China ,influenced by the traditional confucianism, there are many people give priority of respectivity  when choosing an ideal job.And conventional view was held that the  stablest, the best. When choosing a job, it is the stability and respect but not the money that first came into people's mind. Moreover, women prefer a vacant job for it can give them more time to care for the family. What's more ,when work and family have conflicts, many women may choose their family rather than their work.Though merchant's status has risen a lot in today's society, many chinese still choose government funded institutions.Situation is quite different in America, however.American prefer a meaningful and attractive job.Though like the chinese, they chase for the stability, they look for the core or rather than the scholar.Americans are more open and inclusive which influence their job choice. In addition,American woman didn't sacrifice their job for their family. In women pursued their dream job bravely.

Different countries have different attitudes towards dream jobs. Today I want to compare it between China and Japan.

As a Japanese girl, there are many choices of her future. She greatly has the freedom to decide her dream job. No matter what she want to be, a baker, a model, a waitress of a restaurant, or even a housewife, people won't comment her and just accept it.

But for a Chinese girl, people think a decent work is preferable, like teacher, official, or some works with social position.

However, for boys in both countries, they are required to have a decent, respectable and profitable work which is ideal to the society. Maybe it is due to the traditional conception that man is more responsible to supporting the family.

about the dream jobs, the attitudes that Americans and Chinese adopt are different, which may originates from their traditional concepts. Chinese prefer to believe the familism concept, which means they pay more attention to the balance between work and life, the treatment and the benefits of that job rather than the nature of it. To be honest, most of the factors that Chinese consider are in order to make money and get maximum profit from their job to support their family and improve family happiness index. On the contrary, the Americans tend to believe the individualism. As a result, the hope the jobs go with their own will, like to be cool ,to be meaningful.

I think this difference is caused by differences in cultural background and workplace systems. For example, foreigners' understanding of overtime is that employees give up their vacations to work for the company, and leaders are generally grateful for it. And Chinese bosses take it for granted that employees work overtime. Therefore, different cultural backgrounds also create different attitudes towards their ideal work.

Different countries have different cultures and that’s what give birth to various features of societies. And when it comes to dream jobs, people from different countries also varies in choices.

And as a Chinese, I’m sure to declare that we Chinese people hold different attitudes towards dream jobs from that of other countries. Considering that Chinese people have always been putting a high value on family responsibilities, with personalities of prudence and self-esteem underneath, they tend to be considerate and highly cautious when selecting jobs. And it’s not that hard to know that, their dream jobs better be stable, bearing little risk, and if possible, having five insurances and one fund, such as jobs with social security and medical care. In fact, these choices are all made relevant to people’s responsibilities on families.

So that’s what I said cultures give birth to societies, just as every American attaches great importance to individuality, their starting point of working must be on the foundation of their own will. Different from the considerate Chinese with many things have to think about, Americans tend to be more casual and follow their interests when choosing jobs. In contrast to reserved Chinese, Americans stress creativity and imagination, they prefer some cool and meaningful jobs. Consequently, their dream jobs may be related to something offered both stability and the attractive nature.

In a word, attitudes towards dream job differ in countries. They have no distinction of good or bad, and they just grow shaped with countries.

They want a respectable job offering favorable treatment. However, Americans are also in favor of the fact that the stability the job offers is the most important, but they pay much attention to the meaning of the jobs. What's more, Americans are willing to try something interesting, so they attach importance to jobs they are interested in. In short, people in different countries have different experiences, cultures, and characters, so they have different attitudes towards dream jobs.

There are some differences between China and foreign countries in terms of ideal jobs, which also reflects cultural differences. Traditional Chinese culture values family, so it is important to strike a balance between work and family. In America, people are more free and adventurous, so they are more attracted by the nature of work. In China, people pay attention to the iron rice bowl and prefer more decent and better-paid jobs, while Americans prefer cool and challenging jobs. In China, the elders always have the idea that teachers, civil servants and other professions are relatively stable, so many people will choose these professions.
