    1. "Half a  Day" literally refers to the boy's half-day experience at school. Symbolically, the author wants to use this kind of "slow" to creat a contrast between the abundant schooling years and the sudden arrival of old age. Thus, using this title can demonstrate the fleeting life better.

    2. The first person narration allows readers to step into the author's or the protagonist's perspective and helps them resonate with his magical experiences and changing feelings.

I think "Half A Day" meas the boy's half a day at school. Symbolically, this "half-day" stands for an entire lifetime that slips away quickly.

2.The story uses first-person narration to bring us close to the boy's innter feelings. We can easily feel his anxiety, excitement and astonishment. It brings us closer to the story and makes the strange twist at the end more powerful.

The author use "Half a day"as the title of this passage have two reasons. On a superficial level, the passage tells a story of a boy’s life at school. In a deeper sense,"Half a Day"means the   the whole life of one person. As the passage recorded, the little boy went into school at the beginning, but when he walked out form school,he became an old man.Time passing away so fast feels like half a day.

The story was told in the first person to let us more closer to  the  protagonist,so that we can have a better understand of the  protagonist’s moods, making us feel real.

    1. Half a day is short, but a person's life is long. The author uses "half a day" to show that time is fleeting and life is short, telling us to cherish time.

    2. The author used the first perspective, making the distance between him and his readers shorter, giving people a real feeling and helping people feel more deeply about the theme. Let readers have a better understanding about the theme of this article.
