Stereotyping frames other people in a tight focus of fixity, of essentialized difference. A sereotpye isolates one particular cultural from a general ensemble of themes associated with a social group or category, and conceives of all member of the group or category in terms of this one theme.

Chinese people are all good at Kongfu, Americans eat junk food everyday or Asians always get good grades in math learning, just to name a few. Things above could all be regarded as embodiment of stereotype.

Stereotype refers to people's fixed, general and general views on a certain kind of people or things. It is a fairly common phenomenon when we get to know others. For example, when it comes to Germany, many people may think they are rigid and rigorous. When it comes to Indian, many people may think they are laggard.
